Using the gallery to plan your fence
Photos are a great way to narrow things down, but the right fence also depends on your yard. A style that looks perfect on a flat suburban lot may need a different approach on a sloped, wooded Main Line property, or near a pool, or in a neighborhood with HOA design rules. During your walkthrough, we’ll look at your specific property and help you pick something that looks right and holds up.
A few things worth noting as you browse:
- Color and finish matter. Black aluminum and black vinyl-coated chain link tend to disappear into the landscape; white vinyl stands out crisply.
- Look at the gates, too. A well-built gate is the part of your fence you’ll use every day.
- Think about the view from both sides, especially along a shared property line.
- Consider height and openness. A 4-foot picket or aluminum fence keeps a front yard friendly, while a 6-foot privacy fence turns a backyard into a retreat.
Keep in mind that height, style and placement are often subject to township or HOA rules. Rules vary; we check them for you before your fence goes in, and we handle the permits.
