What happens next
Once you submit your request, here’s what to expect:
- We confirm your appointment. A member of our team will reach out to confirm your time and answer any quick questions.
- We walk the property with you. Most customers meet Andrew Taylor, our General Manager, for an on-site walkthrough. We look at your fence line, slopes, gates, trees and anything underground we should plan around. If you’d rather, we can also start your estimate by phone or email.
- You get a clear estimate. We’ll explain the materials and styles that fit your goals and your budget, and what drives the price. Take your time. There’s no pressure to decide on the spot.
- We handle the paperwork. If you move forward, we take care of permits, HOA approvals and the PA One Call (811) utility locate request.

Helpful to know before your walkthrough
If you have a property survey or plot plan, keep it handy. It helps confirm where your property line is, which matters for permits and for neighbors. It’s also useful to know whether you’re in an HOA or a historic district. Jot down any must-haves, too: a gate wide enough for a mower, a spot where the dog likes to dig, or a view you want to keep. How long does it all take?
Timing depends on permits, HOA review, the 811 locate and material availability, and we’ll give you a realistic picture at your estimate. Once materials arrive, most residential jobs take about a day or two on site. Weather can shift schedules, and we’ll keep you posted if it does.
You don’t need to be home for the whole installation, but it helps to be available at the start so we can confirm the fence line and gate locations together. Pets should stay inside while the crew is working.
